San Francisco native, and one time Chronicle Paper Boy, Dan Baldwin has been making wine for the last 27-years. Having earned a B. Sc. in Enology, and Viticulture from California State University Fresno, and where he was the first Professional Commercial Winemaker at that institution Dan also worked on an MBA in Marketing at the Sid Craig School of Business at CSUF. Dan was recruited to work as Winemaker/Winery Director for Billionaire Don Panoz at Chateau Elan outside of Atlanta Georgia.  After meeting and marrying his wife Patricia in Atlanta, it was time to return to California, with two kids in tow, to begin working for the next 16-years at Rios-Lovell Winery in Livermore, CA.  After 8-years, the winery was purchased by Civil Engineer and Entrepreneur Lichang Jiang, another Billionaire, from Northeast China. Dan has been a Wine Judge for the Florida State Fair (3-years), The Orange County Fair (6-years), and now the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
