Amanda Garland has worked in winery tasting rooms for more than a decade. Born in Manhattan Beach, CA, she moved to Santa Rosa in 2004. After a teaching career that spanned multiple subjects and ages, Amanda decided to switch careers and earned two degrees from Santa Rosa Junior College in Wine Studies. Amanda continued to learn about and make friends in her new home in Sonoma County, by volunteering for Northern California Public Media and the San Francisco Chronicle International Wine Competition. She has worked in tasting rooms for Sunce Vineyards, Seghesio Family Vineyards and Dutcher Crossing Winery. Amanda creates brand loyalty and sales by cultivating relationships through wine tastings and open communication.
