Esther Mobley is the San Francisco Chronicle’s senior wine critic. She joined the paper in 2015 to cover the California wine industry after working as an assistant editor at Wine Spectator magazine in New York. Her work at the Chronicle has earned her numerous awards including Feature Writer of the Year in the 2019 Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Awards.
