National Sales Director, Crown Point Vineyards, Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara
I currently work as the National Sales Director for Crown Point Vineyards in the Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara AVA. Previously, I worked in distribution for the Henry Wine Group and Winebow. I also handled wine education for the company’s Southern California Division after the retirement of Master Sommelier Peter Neptune. Before working in distribution, I was the wine buyer for The Wine Country in Long Beach.
I spent 15 years in Mendocino and worked for Navarro Winery and Vineyards in education and sales. I was the wine director and restaurant manager at The Stanford Inn by the Sea Resort at Big River, Mendocino for 9 years prior.
I continue to pursue formal wine education and am a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers. I hold the WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) Certified Diploma with Honors and the Certificate of Viticulture and Enology from the University of California, Davis. I am also certified through The Wine Scholar Guild as a French Wine Scholar and Italian Wine Scholar.
