The 2015 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition’s Annual “Call for Entries” For the past 15 years, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition has been the barometer of how consumers select and measure wine. The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition (SFCWC) is the largest competition of American wines in the World and broke records again last year with an astonishing 5,800 entries. Submissions came pouring in from boutique wineries and large scale producers spanning 25 different states.
