Our 5th Annual SFCWC Label Contest is fast approaching. This popular event has expanded with two new categories so entrants have more opportunities to win. The contest’s five judges are wine marketing experts including Elizabeth Slater from In Short Direct Marketing; Dave Miller of Packaging Arts; Bev Griesert, design and marketing consultant; and Paul and Jennifer Tincknell from Tincknell & Tincknell Wine Marketing. Contestants appreciate their primary consumer contact – their labels – being judged by industry professionals. This year our categories include, “Classic,” “Artistic,” “Whimsical,” “Block,” Etched/Painted,” and “Series.” We also have a special category for “Packaging.” Entering is easy – just check the category found in the SFCWC application booklet. If contestants have any doubt as to which category to enter our label contest staff will be happy to help. So don’t delay - we hope to see your labels entered in this year’s contest.
