Winnie Alberg obtained a degree in Anthropology from Central Washington University and is currently pursuing a Master in Resource Management. Her family owns Stillwater Creek Vineyard, LLC, a 300-acre vineyard in Royal City, Washington where she served as the Marketing and Sales Director for ten years. She is also the owner of Agronomics, LLC, a company that serves private companies in many capacities including the development of their company business planning, branding, contract development and negotiations, and the sales and marketing of agricultural products. She is also the founder and Executive Director of the annual charitable Deadliest Open™ Celebrity Golf Tournament.

Winnie is one of the Founding Roundtable members of the Zino Society of Seattle and is involved in a multitude of wine & grape organizations including the American Society of Enology and Viticulture, Society of Wine Educators and the Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers. She has traveled extensively through the wine growing regions of South America and Europe. She speaks professionally to other wine and grape industry professionals and Winnie has also professionally judged at a wide array of wine competitions, including the Washington State Wine Competition, Idaho Wine Competition, Platinum Wine Judging Competition and the Northwest Wine Summit.
