Liza Zimmerman has been writing, educating and consulting about wine and food for more than two decades. She has also worked almost every angle of the wine and food business: from server and consultant to positions in distribution, education and sales.
Zimmerman was the editor of Market Watch—the trade sibling of Wine Spectator—at M. Shanken for close to eight years; was an editor at Wine Enthusiast and was the editor-in-chief of the national restaurant publication Cheers for four years. She currently writes for a number of international publications including Wine Searcher, Wine Business Monthly and Beverage Media; as well as consulting with wine producers and their marketing teams on content and doing wine teambuilding events for clients such as Genentech and IBM.
