
Tim McNally, host of the weekly two-hour The Wine
Show on WGSO 990 in New Orleans, is a past 8-term
Board member and 2-term president of The New Orleans
Wine and Food Experience, which attracts more than
14,000 lovers of food and wine to the Crescent City
every May.
He is a Founder and Board Member of the Crescent
City Restaurant Rebirth Project, a foundation
working to assist area restaurants get back to
business after Hurricane Katrina, and currently
serves on the Board of the New Orleans chapter,
Chaine des Rotisseurs.
Tim is a contributing editor for two websites
about wine and food, including the highest
trafficked website in the area, neworleans.com,
where he is also moderator for the wine forum area.
Tim writes monthly columns about wine and spirits
for New Orleans CityBusiness and New Orleans
Magazine. And he annually serves as a judge for wine
competitions along the Gulf Coast, in the South, and
California.
Tim’s wife, Brenda Maitland, is a wine and food
writer for six local and regional publications. They
both continue to serve as Founding Board Members of
the Museum of the American Cocktail, a four-year old
project, which is now in the process of establishing
a permanent home in New Orleans, birthplace of the
Cocktail.
He is president of IDEAS of New Orleans, Inc., a
marketing services and consulting company, which he
founded in 1986.
