Richard Thomas,
Professor Emeritus Viticulture, Santa Rosa Junior
College, Santa Rosa. Upon his retirement in June 2001, Rich Thomas will
celebrate a 30-year career as director of the viticulture program at Santa Rosa
Junior College. "Dr Vine" is a world-renowned expert in viticultural
practices, writing and speaking on the subject for many years. He was the first
coordinator of the Sonoma County Harvest Fair and frequently judges wine
competitions throughout the country.
