Managing editor, Wine Press Northwest
Eric Degerman is managing editor, judge and
restaurant writer for Wine Press Northwest, a
quarterly consumer magazine founded in 1998 that
focuses on Washington, Oregon, British Columbia and
Idaho. He is online managing editor at the Tri-City
Herald and lives in Richland, Wash., with Traci, his
wife of 16 years, and their two cats. His judging
background includes the Northwest Wine Summit, the
Grand Harvest Awards, the Long Beach Grand Cru, the
Washington State Wine Competition, Canada’s Okanagan
Fall Wine Festival and Oregon’s Greatest of the
Grape. This will be his fourth consecutive year of
judging at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine
