Plaza III The Steakhouse has been in business since 1963 and been selected as one of America's top 10 steakhouses by Tom Horan's America's Top Ten Club. Aleo Zaget Guide has Plaza III as Kansas City's Top Steakhouse for several years. The wine list has also been a winner of Award of Excellence since 1994. Duane Daniels is a associate at Plaza III for 29 years and the wine steward for the past 22 years. Duane has expanded the wine list from 60 wines in 1982 to over 600 different wines available today. He is always searching for new wines for the list. So judging the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is a great way to find new wines for the list.
