Bob and Scott Fraser founded winejudging.comFather & Son, Bob and Scott Fraser founded winejudging.com in the year 2000 to continue delivering service to the wine industry in California.  This website will offer wine consumers a closer look at the operations and "backroom" of professional wine competitions in California. There will be additional information for consumers to enhance their sensory evaluation of wines and to become more knowledgeable of purchasing fine wines in the marketplace.  Current information of wine judging competitions, classes in wine and food education, local tours available in the wine regions of the world, and local news about California wine will be available on winejudging.com.

Bob Fraser is Chair of the Santa Rosa Junior College Agriculture and Natural Resources Department, the largest agriculture community college in California. Bob serves as the Executive Director of The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Bob also serves as Wine Judging Coordinator of the Sonoma County Harvest Fair Wine Competition held every year in the early fall. Fraser has been active in the community and industry serving as past president of the California North Coast Wine & Visitor Center and Past State Chair of the Community College Division of the California Agriculture Teachers Association. 

winejudging.comScott Fraser was instrumental in the formation of the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition as it was the result of his senior project titled "The Market Feasibility of a Wine Competition Tasting in a Metropolitan City" while obtaining his B.S./M.S. in Agriculture Management at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. more....

Ray Johnson is an Assistant Director which specializes in operational activities of the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Ray's major responsibilities is the coding, tabulations, and awards for wine entries in the competition and winery pouring at Fort Mason Center. Ray works closely with Bob Fraser throughout the year with wine competition strategies and planning.

Anne Vercelli has been assisting Bob Fraser with the wine competition since 1987. Anne is the wine competition backroom coordinator, plans the food menu's for the official judges, and is involved with a myriad of duties year around with the competition.

Bob Matsuba is working with winejudging.com for 2007 with press relations. Bob has a long history in the San Francisco Bay area technology industry in marketing/promotion and has been a valuable asset for winejudging.com this year.
