Roaming Hunger Makes its Debut at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

Attendees will have more delicious dining options at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition this year, February 15th from 1:30-5:00pm, as Roaming Hunger joins forces with the largest competition of American Wines in the World. We are pleased to announce that Naked Chorizo is the official food truck for the 2014 Public Tasting.

Naked Chorizo got its name from translating chorizong hubad literally. Chorizong hubad was a Spanish chorizo brought by the Spaniards to the Philippines. Over time it developed into a unique Filipino creation, blending the best of the islands with the best of Spain. Now Wine Competition attendees will have the chance to taste this delicious dish and many others created by chef Zenia Llamas.

Roaming Hunger started in 2009 as a way to connect foodies to food trucks. The website and iPhone app provide real-time food truck locations for over 4,000 trucks across the U.S., Canada, UK and Australia. Users can check Roaming Hunger’s interactive city map to find out where their next meal is parked or even book a specific vendor for an event. The company even offers the opportunity to wrap the food trucks for specific ads and promotions.
